Since 1986, Alfred Palma, LLC has been recognized as one of Southwest Louisiana’s leading commercial and industrial contractors. Founded by Alfred A. Palma, Jr., a civil engineer and land surveyor with over six decades of experience, the company was established during a period when the Lake Charles economy offered few opportunities. Alfred’s expertise laid the foundation for a business that has grown into one of the region’s most respected general contractors. His son, James G. Palma, joined the company in 1986 after graduating from McNeese State University with a degree in Architectural Studies. He became Vice President and Co-Owner in 1995 and continues today as President and Owner to lead with a commitment to quality, safety, and innovation. Now, third generation, Michael Palma, along with Charlie Spence, Pete Vedder, and the Alfred Palma team members are preparing to continue Alfred A. Palma, Jr.’s legacy of creating a bright future for Southwest Louisiana.
